Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of https://resume.kaamkaj.in and the resume-building services offered by Kaamkaj Resume ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.

1. The service

Kaamkaj Resume is an online tool to create resumes. You can enter your details, choose a template, customise colours, fonts and spacing, generate suggested career objectives, and preview your resume for free with a watermark. After you buy a plan you can download a watermark-free PDF and receive a copy by email. We provide PDF only.

2. Eligibility and your account

  • You must be at least 18 years old, or use the service under the supervision of a parent or guardian.
  • You sign up with a valid email address and verify it with a one-time code or link. Disposable email addresses may be blocked.
  • You are responsible for everything done through your account and for keeping your email account secure. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or abuse the service.

3. Your content

  • You own the information you put in your resume. You give us a limited licence to store, process and display it solely to provide the service to you.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of your content. Do not include false qualifications, another person's details or anything unlawful, defamatory or infringing.
  • Suggested objectives and other automated text are starting points only; review and edit them before use.

4. Plans, pricing and payment

  • Prices are shown in Indian Rupees (INR). Taxes, including GST, are shown at checkout, either included in or added to the price as displayed.
  • Payments are processed securely by Razorpay using the methods it offers (UPI, cards, net banking, wallets). We do not store your payment credentials.
  • Each plan has a validity period, a number of PDF downloads and a number of edits (updates of your purchased copy) as stated on the Pricing page and at checkout. When you reach a limit or the plan expires, further downloads or updates need a new purchase.
  • Coupons are single-account promotional offers, may have usage limits and expiry, and cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • We may change prices and plans for future purchases. Orders already paid are not affected.

5. Delivery

After successful payment your plan is activated immediately. You can download your PDF from your dashboard and, unless disabled, a copy is emailed to your registered address. Download links are secure, single-use and short-lived; you can request a new one from your orders page while your plan is valid. Please save your PDF safely after downloading.

6. Refunds

Because the product is a digital file delivered instantly, refunds are limited as explained in our Refund Policy.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to: copy, scrape or resell our templates or software; use bots or automated means to access the service; attempt to bypass the watermark, payment, download or rate limits; probe or disrupt our systems; upload malware; or use the service for fraud, impersonation or any unlawful purpose.

8. Intellectual property

The website, software, templates, designs, text, logos and brand names belong to us or our licensors and are protected by law. Your purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable right to use the PDF resume you create for your own job applications. You may not sell or redistribute our templates as a product.

9. No guarantee of results

We build tools to help you present yourself well, but we cannot promise interviews, job offers or that any applicant tracking system (ATS) will rank or parse your resume in a particular way. See our Disclaimer.

10. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service available but do not promise uninterrupted access. We may modify, add or remove features, templates or plans, and may carry out maintenance with or without notice.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, loss of opportunity, income or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid for the order that gave rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your statutory consumer rights.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from content you submit or from your breach of these Terms or applicable law.

14. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or end access if you breach these Terms. Clauses that by nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, liability and governing law) will continue to apply.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact us first at info@kaamkaj.in so we can try to resolve any issue in good faith. Unresolved disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India where our registered office is located.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The "Last updated" date shows the current version, and continued use after changes means you accept them.
